Job Summary

A consulting business needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Contracts Specialist.

Must be able to:

  • Assist with the review of various contract documents
  • Inform program managers of contract changes, burn-downs and LCAT modifications
  • Utilize all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures

Position Requirements Include:

  • Travel for initial training and periodic visits to the Ronald Reagan Building to attend meetings
  • At least 5 years of federal acquisition experience is required with a Master's Degree, 7 years with a Bachelor's Degree, or an additional 2 years of general management experience and/or a PMP in lieu of a degree
  • Must be knowledgeable of the Federal acquisition process and applicable laws and regulations
  • Experience with all aspects of the acquisition life cycle needed and must be fully conversant in theory and application of key FAR Subparts
  • Must possess experience in working with major contract types (FFP, T&M, LH) contract vehicles (BPAs, IDIQs, etc.), small business contracts, simplified and large acquisitions and similar contracting concepts
  • Strong background in acquiring commercial supplies and/or services for the Federal Government
