Telecommute Controller

Job Summary

A health insurance software company has an open position for a Telecommute Controller.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Establishing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures and financial systems
• Owning the month-end close process, including the preparation and analysis of financial statements
• Owning cash flow related to accounts payables and receivables

Qualifications Include:

• roficiency with excel
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting and financial management
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Proven track record in financial reporting, analysis, month-end close and budgeting, as well as financial planning
• Excellent interpersonal skills
