Job Summary

A mortgage company is seeking a Telecommute Conventional Underwriting Team Leader.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Distributing work to underwriting team according to goals and workload
  • Responding to procedural, product, and system questions
  • Managing Ceridian updates for assigned Conventional underwriting team

Qualifications Include:

  • BS/BA in Finance, Operations or Management preferred, or equivalent work history
  • 5+ years of experience in all aspects of residential mortgage origination
  • Strong knowledge of State and Federal laws pertaining to the mortgage banking industry
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Strong analytical skills required with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to act as an escalation contact for government related questions and guidance
