Job Summary
An energy company has a current position open for a Telecommute Cost Accountant in Seattle.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Prepare monthly journal entries manually or by initiating electronic creation through software programs
- Develop and maintain a detailed revenue recognition schedule per project
- Conduct monthly and quarterly revenue/cost review meetings with the professional services team
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 5+ years of applied experience in cost accounting and finance
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of MS Office suite and Accounting software
- Advanced/Super User level of expertise in MS Excel
