Job Summary

A crisis hotline is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Crisis Counselor in Towson.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Receiving calls from people reaching out in a time of crisis
  • Answering questions, making referrals, and helping get people set-up with a better plan
  • Working with your callers while simultaneously referencing customized call handling processes

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • MSW or PsyD, or PhD in behavioral health field OR M.A. or M.S. in behavioral health
  • Licensed or registered with your state licensing board
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Computer and typing proficiency
