An internet media hub needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Culture Writer in Miami.

Must be able to:

• Share what’s special and unique about the place they call home
• Create travel and culture stories in a variety of formats, including features, lists and interviews, with a focus on Miami
• Publish on our content management system, enhancing your story with location data

Qualifications Include:

• In-depth knowledge of Miami, from local cultures to customs and the latest trends
• Creative and full of great ideas for distinctive and engaging stories
• Strong reporting skills - you should be well-versed in the journalistic principles of reporting
• Bylines in nationally and/or internationally renowned English-language publications
• Tech aptitude and experience with a CMS, preferably WordPress
• Strong research and communication skills with an interest in and sensitivity to cultural nuances
