Job Summary

An insurance company has a current position open for a Telecommute Customer Service Representative.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Receiving and responding to wide range of telephone inquiries
  • Researching Provider Inquiry electronic work processes
  • Logging all inquiries and document/update clearly and accurately inquiry tracking system

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Approximately 6 months on-site training
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years recent customer service experience with significant communication
  • Ability to learn and apply Medicare guidelines and computer-based self-service tools
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn and apply insurance and medical terminology
  • Ability to identify customers issues, research, and initiate appropriate action
