Job Summary

An education company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Cyber Security Course Mentor.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Providing weekly, 30-minute video check-ins with students
• Providing feedback on projects, and offer career advice
• Helping students set and achieve learning goals and answer subject matter questions

Required Skills:

• Must have at least 2 years of experience solving real-life cybersecurity challenges, and are comfortable explaining key concepts
• Must be passionate about teaching Cybersecurity
• Must have extensive experience with Linux, Windows and MacOS
• Must have real-world experience working in systems security, network security, applied cryptography, logs and detection, governance/risk and compliance, security strategy or incidence response and cyber threat intelligence
• Must have subject matter expertise with common operating system internals
• Must hold current CISSP certificate
