Job Summary

An enterprise data platform provider has a current position open for a Telecommute Data Acquisition Analyst.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Researching/searching for publicly available ground truth data within the regions planned for modeling
  • Conducting outreach to agencies to request data and following up with questions
  • Cleaning ground truth data so that it matches our modeling schemas

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Basic python programming
  • SQL familiarity
  • Geodata manipulation experience and basic GIS, ArcGIS and/or QGIS experience
  • Familiarity of common tabular formats such as CSV files, delimited text files, and spreadsheets
  • Basic knowledge of traffic count systems and associated data products
