Job Summary
A software company has an open position for a Telecommute Data Analyst in New York City.
Must be able to:
- Evaluate the success and/or effectiveness of design changes
- Setup, execute and evaluate statistical tests of new features, including A/B testing
- Conduct ad-hoc usage and member analysis for use by the marketing and business team
Qualifications for this position include:
- 4+ years of experience with SQL or other programming languages
- Experience initiating and driving projects to completion with minimal guidance
- 4+ years of experience with quantitative analysis in an analytical role at a technology company, consulting, or finance
- BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information
