Job Summary

A company that provides business process services is seeking a Telecommute Data Analytics Senior Analyst.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Ensuring all required process documentation is accurate, correctly detailed, and kept up-to-date
• Identifying key measures and indicators of process performance used in process-centric reporting
• Pulling data into analytic environment using Oracle, SQL, Hadoop, Access or Excel

Qualifications Include:

• Travel up to 25-50%
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis with heavy emphasis on data-driven decision
• BS required, (MS or PhD preferred), in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Machine Learning or a related field
• Successful implementation of business process and simulation modeling including observation and subject matter expert interviewing techniques, model verification and model validation
• Familiarity with relational databases and Expert knowledge of an analysis tool such as R (preferred), Matlab, MiniTab, SAS or
• Experience working with large data sets, experience working with (not architecture design of) distributed computing tools a plus (Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, )
