Job Summary

A veterinary practice company is filling a position for a Telecommute Data and Analytics Director in Stamford.

Must be able to:

  • Build and maintain analytical tools and workflows to support business across all departments
  • Own the analytics capability and roadmap for the business
  • Work with leads from marketing, finance, and other business users to develop queries and datasets for further analysis

Qualifications Include:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a business analyst/data analyst position or similar role
  • 2+ years of experience in ETL (AWS), Amazon S3, Amazon Redshift, Impala/Hive, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, IAM, CloudWatch, Glue, Hadoop HDFS, Spark
  • BA/BS degree from a four-year college or university with a concentration in an applicable field
  • Database design and SQL development or relevant experience
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL to extract and manipulate data
  • Demonstrable experience in end-to-end implementation of DW BI projects, especially in data warehouse and data-lake developments
