BlueGranite Solution Consultants possess talent for building and delivering data/analytics solutions using Microsoft's SQL Server, Power BI and Azure platforms. Our consultants are members of BlueGranite's premier consulting team, and work closely with our clients and other BlueGranite team members on project-based engagements. Our projects solve real-world business problems - building data integrations, analytical data models, and data visualizations - while delivering value for clients across a variety of industries and markets.
Responsibilities
Develop data and analytics solutions using Microsoft SQL and Azure platforms
Create informative and interactive data visualizations/models with Power BI
Utilize key components of SQL Server (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, MDS/DQS, ML Services)
Leverage the Azure Platform to deliver cloud and hybrid solutions
Build, automate, and maintain data movements and flows from various data sources/types
Obtain technical certifications in core area(s) of expertise
Qualifications
3+ years of professional experience involving data/analytics tools and Microsoft BI and DW platforms
Strong skill with RDBMS (SQL Server & T-SQL)
Strong mathematical, analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously
Strong communication skills, both oral and written are required
Consultative project work experience strongly preferred
Degree in information technology, computer science, business, or engineering
Additional Information
This position is predominantly remote, work from home. BlueGranite consultants average 25%-35% overnight travel per year. Typically, this travel consists of one to three weekday nights, once or twice in a month. Travel overall is minimal and will vary based on the type of project and client location.
