A company that provides predictive data services is in need of a Telecommute Data and Engineering Director in New York City.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Developing direction for the ecommerce and data platforms
• Leading a team of software and data engineers
• Ensuring software and data quality

Qualifications Include:

• 6+ years of data experience
• Experience in hiring, managing, and mentoring engineers, data scientists, analysts
• Practical experience across a wide array of technology areas
• Strong technical understanding of and hands on experience in data science, machine learning, analytical methodologies and tools
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to a wide variety of audiences
• Comfortable working hands-on and collaboratively
