Job Summary

A software development company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Data Architect in Herndon.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Determining database structural requirements by analyzing client operations and systems
  • Creating conceptual, logical, and physical database designs
  • Implementing and optimizing physical database design

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or a related field) required
  • At least 4 years in a data administrator or architect role
  • Demonstrable experience with RDBMS products, such as Oracle, MySQL, and PostGreSQL
  • Demonstrable experience with NoSQL products
  • Very strong SQL query skills
