A healthcare company is seeking a Telecommute Data Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Working with Data Architects to pull together information from various internal and external data sources
- Creating and managing new taxonomy and metadata standards
- Using existing extract, transform and load tools and REST-oriented APIs
Position Requirements Include:
- BS in Computer Science or related field
- Open source contributions or robust portfolio of shipped code at GitHub
- Overall 3+ years experience evaluating, designing and/or implementing machine learning applications in big data environment
- 3+ years experience using SQL and traditional data warehouses
- Working knowledge of agile development techniques
- Willingness to learn new technologies and comprehend unfamiliar data domains and new business processes quickly
