Job Summary

An information technology company is in need of a Telecommute Data Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Using Spark to analyze terabytes of event and entity data
• Tracking and using dimension history in the company's analytics pipelines
• Handling, sorting, and rolling up the events from mobile, web, and backend systems

Required Skills:

• Consistently shipped high quality code to production as part of a team
• Strong foundation in computer science, especially in the storage and retrieval of large data sets
• You can work with large, complex data schemas
• Strong knowledge of SQL, and are familiar with data warehousing technologies
• Proficient in writing, deploying, and debugging data pipelines using Apache Spark
• Have significant experience with two or more programming languages
