Job Summary

A humanitarian organization is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Data Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Developing, testing, documenting and maintaining scalable data pipelines.
  • Building out new data integrations including APIs to support continuing increases in data volume
  • Establishing and following data governance processes and guidelines

Qualifications for this position include:

  • 7-10 years of relevant work experience in analytics, data engineering, business intelligence or related field
  • Experience with or knowledge of Agile software development methodologies
  • Experience using SQL queries as well as writing and optimizing SQL queries
  • Experience developing integrations across multiple systems and APIs
  • Experience creating ETL and/or ELT jobs
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
