An online school and education system network is seeking a Telecommute Data Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Owning data engineering processes
- Building technical solutions to move, transform, extract and analyze data for internal stakeholders
- Examining data team processes and executing enhancements where needed
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Strong understanding of database fundamentals and schema design
- Shown ability to write complex but efficient database queries
- Professional experience building workflows to extract, transform and load data
- Experience building/operating distributed systems of data extraction, ingestion, etc
