A privately-held information technology solutions company is in need of a Telecommute Data Engineer in Sun Prairie.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Recommending data engineering standards
- Researching data engineering standards
- Improving enterprise-wide programs
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Ability to travel for some client on-site work estimated at less than 10%
- BS (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field
- 8+ years of experience
- Experience with AWS technologies
- Experience optimizing data access using technologies like Parquet, ORC, or Avro
- Experience developing software to manage large datasets and changesets
