Job Summary
A company offering a private social network needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Data Integration Social Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers and data engineers to develop data pipelines with the goal of creating or improving products
- Gain an understanding of our data and proactively identify places where unused data can be integrated to add value
- Define how data should be structured to provide maximum value to downstream consumers
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Data engineering or operations experience
- Fluent in Python and SQL
- Knowledge of data warehousing (we use Snowflake) and designing data models
- Familiar with different types of data structures and what they mean for the data stored within them
- Ability to work alongside others in planning and carrying out the implementation of solutions
- Ability to establish data architecture processes and practices
