Job Summary

A health insurance company is filling a position for a Telecommute Data Platform Senior Software Engineer in Minneapolis.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Designing, developing, deploying, and supporting the data platform
  • Operationalizing data insights by enabling fault-tolerant, production-scale deployments
  • Applying perseverance and imagination, both in writing new software

Required Skills:

  • BS in Computer Science or Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 3+ years software development experience
  • Coding experience in shipping complex software to production
  • Knowledge of high-scale performance and optimization tools and techniques
  • Expertise writing production grade code in Scala and/or Java
  • Expertise in data structures, algorithms, performance and scalability
