Job Summary
A property and casualty insurance provider is filling a position for a Telecommute Data Science and Analytics Principal Engineer in Northbrook.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Analyzing, designing, and developing enterprise level applications
- Leading other engineers on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices
- Identifying new technologies to continuously enhance the existing products
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Solid hands-on experience in Java and Spring Framework is a must
- Hands-on experience in designing and building APIs
- Deep knowledge of software engineering best practices
- Solid understanding of modern Cloud platforms such as AWS or Pivotal Cloud Foundry
- Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies
