Job Summary
A software development company is seeking a Telecommute Data Science Director.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Applying data science to our offerings and data about the data science community
- Owning innovation initiatives focused on key data science deliverables
- Identifying, monitoring and researching new ways of using data to solve business problems
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, economics, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience
- Technical hands-on experience will include employing machine learning, mathematical/statistical modeling, pattern recognition, or data mining
- Prior experience driving high quality/on-time analytic development programs
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with examples of published work
