An online thrift store is in need of a Telecommute Data Scientist.
Must be able to:
- Implement algorithmic solutions to drive decisions around item acceptance
- Uncover insights in our vast repository of raw data, and provide tactical guidance
- Develop rigorous forecasting systems to bring predictability to our planning
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 3 years of full time, professional experience in data analytics, data science, or software engineering roles
- Ability to effectively work with business leads
- Innate curiosity and drive to find insights that unlock new growth or efficiency
- Well-rounded skill set in statistics, machine learning, software development, and project management
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and Python, and experience writing code in a collaborative environment
