Job Summary
A technical service company is seeking a Telecommute Data Scientist.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Working with cross-discipline teams to ensure connectivity between various data sources and business problems
- Using Python, SQL, visualization tools and other data science IDEs to query, transform, analyze, and combine datasets
- Communicating highly technical methods to non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications for this position include:
- B.S. Degree in a STEM, quantitative or analytical field
- 2 or more years of experience in a data science or research function
- Strong technical data aptitude
- Must be a skilled communicator
- Software programming knowledge (e.g. R, Scala, SQL and Python)
- Experience in data mining and statistical analysis
