Job Summary
A research company has a current position open for a Telecommute Data Scientist Author.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Interacting with clients to provide insightful answers to tough data problems
- Writing up your findings in short reports including visually appealing graphs
- Data processing and modelling in SQL, R, Python, Excel and visualisation software
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Excellent writing skills (English), with the ability to communicate complex insights to non-technical audiences
- A thorough knowledge and experience with the following families of algorithms: Decision trees, tree ensembles, regressions, kNN etc
- A solid understanding of statistics is required
- Programming skills
- A passion for technology, and understanding of how it's impacting people's lives
