An insurance company is seeking a Telecommute Data Scientist I.

Must be able to:

  • Gather structured and/or unstructured data to create a modeling dataset
  • Perform exploratory data analysis
  • Build appropriate data solutions

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science, or related field
  • Working knowledge of some data analysis tools and techniques
  • Working knowledge of programming within data analysis tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to translate technical ideas into more general terms for business customers
  • Good analytical, investigation, and problem-solving abilities
