Job Summary

A technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Data Scientist Team Lead.

Must be able to:

  • Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new/alternative data sources and data gathering techniques
  • Mine and analyze data from company data sources to drive optimization and improvement
  • Develop scalable custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or another quantitative field
  • 5 to 7 years of experience manipulating data sets and building statistical models
  • Experience working with and creating data architectures
  • Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SLQ, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
  • Coding knowledge and experience with several languages: C, C++, Java, JavaScript, etc
