Job Summary

A health care provider is filling a position for a Telecommute Data Validation Coordinator in Pittsburgh.

Must be able to:

• Provide training to newly hired Team abstractors or intensified auditing and ongoing training to those abstractors
• Run Cerner Infoview reports weekly to track outcomes and follow-up with both Abstractors and Quality as required
• Abstract clinical Measures IQR/Inpatient Quality Reporting, OQR/Outpatient Quality Reporting, IPFQR/Inpatient Psychiatric Facility Quality Reporting, and others

Skills and Requirements Include:

• High school graduate with a minimum of two years of CMS Core Measure Abstracting experience
• Demonstrated strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology and medical terminology
• Demonstrated analytical ability and a high degree of accuracy are necessary to assure thorough and precise data collection and correction
• Ability to effectively communicate and instruct employees regarding workflow and proper procedures
• Ability to make recommendations to the profiles to decrease or eliminate company errors
• Ability to validate and corrects as necessary any individual patient level data generated for various reports issued by PCH4 to meet PHC4 deadlines
