Job Summary
An educational services company has a current position open for a Telecommute Database Administrator.
Must be able to:
- Monitor AWS costs and recommend areas for saving
- Maintain and monitor backup processes and test restorations
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Strong knowledge of relational databases including normalization, indexing and SQL
- 3+ years experience in software development and operations
- Knowledge of data security and integrity
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related subject
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
