Job Summary
An information technology services company is seeking a Telecommute Database Administrator in Austin.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Maintain multiple Relational and NoSQL databases by identifying and solving database requirements and supporting users
- Monitor ongoing operation of production and lower-environment database servers
- Respond to standard and urgent support requests that are communicated via help desk-type tickets
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Math/Information Technology, or equivalent
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle Database
- Working knowledge of MongoDB
- Installation, configuration, and administration of Oracle Database v11g and v12g
- Understanding of Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC) technologies
- Ability to write and maintain Oracle DDL/DML scripts (e.g., PL/SQL)
