Job Summary

A leading technology platform is filling a position for a Telecommute Database Administrator in Pittsburgh.

Must be able to:

  • Write power shell, python, and SQL scripts to fully automate configuration and maintenance of databases
  • Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours

Qualifications Include:

  • Must be detail orientated and have excellent communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in CS or similar
  • 5+ years of DBA / database development experience in SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres, or AWS Aurora
  • Experience in Amazon Web Services using EC2 and RDS databases
  • Experience with DevOps environments using configuration management systems
  • SQL development experience to write and troubleshoot stored procedures, and functions
