Job Summary

A conglomerate holding company has a current position open for a Telecommute Database Administrator in St Louis.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Performing Oracle RDBMS, Microsoft SQL Server and PostGreSQL administration and performance analysis
  • Managing database structures, physical storage allocations, system/user accounts, software licensing and archival/backups
  • Ensuring that all software, services and applications meet government and industry security standards and are secure

Qualifications Include:

  • Knowledge of the three most recent versions of Oracle RDBMS administration on Linux, Solaris (UNIX) and Windows computer systems in a LAN environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL on Linux, Solaris and Windows
  • Knowledge of Oracle development tools (jDeveloper, APEX) and CASE technology tools
  • Knowledge of Oracle Data Guard, Oracle RMAN, Oracle Grid, Oracle Internet Application Server
  • Knowledge of ESRI ArcSDE software and tools, SQL and PL/SQL
