Job Summary
An information technology company has an open position for a Telecommute Database Administrator IV.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Tuning database systems and applications for optimal performance
- Performing database administration activities
- Assisting with establishing policies and procedures pertaining to database management
Qualifications for this position include:
- Strong understanding of indexes, index management, integrity checks and statistics
- Industry-related certification MCTS, MCITP-DBA
- High school diploma/GED and eight years of database related industry experience
- Experience with production DBA and managing multiple databases
- Expert in troubleshooting issues related to CPU, memory, I/O, and disk space
- Expert in running SQL profile traces to troubleshoot performance issues
