Job Summary

A staffing agency has a current position open for a Telecommute DE Certification Program Underwriter in New York City.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Underwriting conventional loans
  • Reworking loans to new terms
  • Reviewing and evaluating borrower(s) profiles

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years front-end conventional underwriting experience
  • Minimum of 3 years full-time experience reviewing credit applications and property appraisals
  • Manual underwriting experience and prior credit signing authority
  • Front line appraisal review and tax return analysis skills
  • Experience reading and interpreting AUS (DU/LPA)
  • Ability to adapt to/learn/utilize multiple software programs
