Job Summary

A healthcare services company is in need of a Telecommute Denials Specialist in Frisco.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Ensuring coding in DCM is accurate and reflects the denial reasons
• Validating denial reasons
• Escalating exhausted appeal efforts for resolution

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Intermediate understanding of Explanation of Benefits
• Intermediate understanding of ICD-9, HCPCS/CPT coding and medical terminology
• 3 - 5 years of experience in a hospital business environment performing billing and/or collections
• Advanced business letter writing skills to include correct use of grammar and punctuation
