Job Summary
A software company is in need of a Telecommute Design Director in Seattle.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Ensuring collaboration within the team and across other departments i.e. design/prod/tech/partnerships/account
- Partnering with VP of Design to define and build a hiring pipeline to support the product’s growth and evolving team needs
- Acting as manager/leader for team in their product areas, be able to roll up sleeves and contribute to executional work when necessary
Position Requirements Include:
- Degree in Interaction Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, Human-computer Interaction, Anthropology, or equal
- 5+ years of team management experience with a proven track record of leading, mentoring, supporting, and directing
- 7-10 years of experience in user product or service design, preferably in an Enterprise or SaaS environment
