Job Summary

A provider of IT support services has a current position open for a Telecommute Desktop Engineer in the San Fransisco Area.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Supporting, diagnosing and troubleshooting Windows-based desktop and laptop computer systems
  • Working with computer end users in assisting to identify and resolve application and operating system issues
  • Installing, setting up, configuring and testing a variety of application programs on user workstations

Qualifications Include:

  • Work will be performed at our customer sites in the San Francisco Bay area
  • Three years background in workstation admin
  • Strong computer troubleshooting and problem isolation ability
  • In-depth experience providing software help to small-companies for all Microsoft Windows operating systems
  • Expert in Microsoft Exchange-based Outlook email and Virtual Private Network (VPN) configurations
  • Expert in Microsoft products and applications, workstation, notebook and peripheral setup, offsite access for users
