Telecommute Development and Communications Associate

Job Summary

A public interest group is filling a position for a Telecommute Development and Communications Associate.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Providing support for fundraising efforts, donor communications, and special events
• Ensuring that acknowledgement of gifts, donor data tracking, grant reporting, and record keeping are maintained
• Conducting research and special projects that contribute to the growth of the organization’s development efforts

Required Skills:

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in humanities or scientific field
• Understanding of organic food and farming issues
• Competency with the Microsoft Office suite and proficiency with social media and Internet research
• Talent for creating and managing systems
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Highest degree of personal and professional ethics
