Job Summary

A staffing agency has a current position open for a Telecommute Development and Operations Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Assisting partners with onboarding for Technical Partners program
  • Performing technical reviews of Dockerfiles
  • Contributing to an image certification best practice methodology

Qualifications Include:

  • 4+ years of experience as a support engineer, technical account manager or a solution architect
  • 4+ years of experience with Linux, including installation, configuration, upgrade, and maintenance experience
  • Very good understanding of Linux, the Linux kernel and filesystem
  • Comfortable using the linux command line and using common tools like ssh, cURL and git.
  • Familiar with management system tools (ansible, puppet, chef)
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information to partners in a clear and concise manner
