Job Summary

A nonprofit organization has a current position open for a Telecommute Development Officer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Providing strategic and creative leadership of all fund development related activities
• Identifying, qualifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewardship of individual donors who give $500 – and up
• Overseeing the development and execution of an external communication plan and communication policies

Qualifications for this position include:

• Ability to travel for face-to-face meetings
• At least 5 years related fund development experience
• At least 3 years’ successful experience in front-line major gifts fundraising
• Demonstrated excellence in assuring strategic direction of fund development and communications activities
• Outstanding analytical skills demonstrated in managing prospect pipeline strategies
