Job Summary
A software company is seeking a Telecommute DevOps Engineer in Irving.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Making sure systems are reliable, secure, automated, efficient, and constantly improving
- Helping securely manage Linux servers that power the in-store systems at pizzerias across the nation
- Organizing log data and metrics from thousands of cloud and in store systems
Qualifications for this position include:
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years of experience managing or administrating CentOS Linux servers
- At least 2 years of experience with a configuration management tool like Chef, Puppet, or Ansible
- At least 2 years of experience with Amazon Web Services
- At least 1 year working with a continuous integration platform like Bamboo, TeamCity, Circle CI or Jenkins
- An almost fanatical security mindset
