Job Summary
A tax service company has an open position for a Telecommute DevOps Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Maintaining, testing, and improving disaster recovery across our technology stacks
- Building complex deployment pipelines for Ruby and Elixir applications
- Maintaining and improving our monitoring and alerting systems across AWS and Heroku applications
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 3 - 6 years of experience in cloud based DevOps with a heavy focus on AWS services
- Production experience: CloudFormation, CodeDeploy, Ruby applications, Elixir applications, AWS cost optimization, and Postgresql
- Experience with running disaster recovery scenarios and then documenting and implementing issues
- Ability to write clear and accurate documentation around infrastructure
- Be accountable for the infrastructure you are provisioning and maintaining
