Job Summary

A financial services company has an open position for a Telecommute DevOps Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Building tools for internal use
  • Bringing new automation technologies to bear and improve the quality of engineering efforts
  • Enabling Development and Operations to build and deploy our applications

Required Skills:

  • Experience deploying and maintaining JVM-based systems
  • Deep experience with Linux system administration
  • 6 years of general industry experience
  • 2 years experience with DevOps tools and/or release engineering experience
  • Familiarity with "infrastructure as code" best practices
  • Solid understanding/experience with web services, databases and relating infrastructure/architectures
