Job Summary
A staffing agency is filling a position for a Telecommute DevOps Engineer in Vancouver.
Must be able to:
- Monitor, maintain, and configure AWS cloud services
- Monitor, maintain, and configure internally developed web applications and services
- Develop ways to scale, automate, or generally improve systems
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Experience with 24x7 web applications
- Experience with deployment automation tools - Chef, Jenkins, Puppet, Ansible
- Database experience (tuning, troubleshooting, etc.) - MS-SQL, MySQL/Percona
- Experience working in a pairing environment
- Build/Test/Release cycle experience
- Other tools experience: (Zabbix, Splunk, New Relic, Vagrant, Nagios)
