Job Summary

Based in Danville, Illinois, Watchfire is an 85-year old company that continues to be rapidly growing as an industry leader in the cutting-edge technology of digital LED displays.

Region: To be determined based on strengths candidates may bring us. Territories are typically up to ten geographically clustered states. Strongly prefer candidates living very close to a major airport within the region.

Digital Outdoor Territory Managers are actively working with billboard operators to assist in selecting and purchasing our latest technology in LED billboards. These experienced outside sales people bring us a track record of business-to-business product sales--ideally specifically selling materials to the outdoor advertising industry. Attention to detail and adoption of our proven sales process is mandatory.

We meet their excellent skillset with a superb opportunity to succeed. Watchfire manages marketing, lead generation, onboarding, and service requirements allowing the Territory Manager to focus on the needs of existing customers and new prospects. A professional base salary is combined with generous commissions. Inside project engineers are here to handle technical questions and keep communications and materials flowing smoothly, leaving the Territory Managers free to focus on the relationship and the bottom line.



Each Territory Manager is responsible for building and maintaining their territory's network of outdoor advertising clients. They are regularly in contact with existing and new customers.



We've built a clear formula for success. Inside Staff supports the Territory Manager; The Territory Manager supports billboard operators; the billboard operators support their advertisers.


Responsibilities

Develop new and existing customers in the assigned territory, and lead the outdoor advertising clients to select Watchfire Digital Outdoor as billboards continue to convert from static to digital technology.

Professionally manage and develop sales opportunities for Digital Outdoor division via:

o Industry contacts

o Networking

o Attending trade meetings and events

o Responding to generated leads

o Outbound calling

o Face-to-face meetings

Commitment and discipline to adopt proven sales process, sales management software and approved marketing materials to consistently communicate brand promise.

Required Education/Qualifications

2+ years demonstrated experience in selling to the outdoor advertising billboard industry required -- selling key materials to numerous independent billboard operators strongly preferred;
Bachelors Degree in business, sales, engineering, electronics or related fields preferred;
Possess and maintain a valid drivers license, and be able to rent vehicles;
Willingness and ability to fly as needed to accomplish territory goals or as required for trade shows and company meetings;
Maintain physical ability to do moderate lifting, and to do the moderately demanding physical activities required in the job;
Proficiency in the key Microsoft programs; Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook.
Familiarity with SalesForceAutomation (SFA)or customer relationship management (CRM) software, ideally SalesForce.com;
Travel approximately 50% of the time.
