A media entertainment company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Digital News Editor.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Being well-versed in optimizing content for search and social platforms
- Applying experience with common newsroom analytics platforms
- Exercising good editorial judgment across a broad range of content
Position Requirements Include:
- At least one year working in audience growth, distribution, social media and/or SEO per editorial
- Exhibit very strong news judgment and an appreciation for all sorts of news topic
- Be familiar with analytics platforms
- Show eagerness to collaborate with colleague
- Able to learn new skills, and experiment with different approaches to distribution
- Be comfortable discussing data insights with colleagues who may be unfamiliar with analytics
