Job Summary
A mortgage company is seeking a Telecommute Direct Endorsement Veterans Affairs Underwriter.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Making independent credit decisions
- Reviewing loans and issue an underwriting decision
- Analyzing the credit-worthiness, collateral, accuracy of Total Scorecard
Qualifications for this position include:
- Must have DE (CHUMS I.D)
- Be up-to-date with all relevant mortgagee letters
- Be actively underwriting FHA loans for the past 24 months
- 3 years experience in FHA and Conventional Underwriting
- Knowledge of Investor Guidelines, Product Delivery, and AUS engines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
