Job Summary
A healthcare company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Disability Claims Analyst.
Must be able to:
- Review, research, investigate, negotiate, process, and adjust claims
- Review claims for possible fraud
- Prepare claim payments and offsets for authorized expenditures
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Travel to attend client meetings, conferences, and training programs
- High School Diploma / GED or higher
- 3+ years of workers’ compensation claim-related experience
- New York State license as an independent claims adjuster or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages
